Title: How far can IT protect mountain safety?
Summary:
Recent advances in IT have resulted in the development of convenient mountain information and rescue systems that could not have been considered before. On the other hand, there is no sufficient knowledge and skills, and safety awareness raising for users who climb mountain is also an issue. In this symposium, we will introduce the most advanced risk management system using IT, and we will consider the time for our outdoor providers and users to consider how to utilize these technologies.
